Lions had their end of the year banquet at County Line on the Hill! We celebrated another year of service and welcomed the 2017-2018 executive leadership.
Our mission is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding (and we have a downright fantastic time doing just that).
Lions Club at the University of Texas at Austin is quickly growing and accomplishing more than ever thought possible. Below are a few of our goals for the upcoming 2016-2017 academic year.
Lions Club at the University of Texas at Austin is just one chapter of Lions Club International, the world's largest service organization. We strive to provide everything you could want in a collegiate club.
Lions will always be my family, and I’m thankful for every member of this club.
Lions have given me so many unforgettable experiences and amazing friendships over the course of my four years in the club.

Lions danced and laughed the night away at a fairy tale themed prom for special needs high school students in Austin ISD. We have been preparing for this event since last semester by making decorations, party favors and costumes. The high schoolers really enjoyed the event and taking pictures with their favorite Disney princesses and […]
Our Legacy Special Committee has been planning for this event for the past semester! They have worked hard to plan this event and to fund-raise money for the care packages. This past Sunday, Lions along with members from multiple other clubs and organizations put together 300 care packages! These care packages included basic necessities such […]
Our STEAM Special Committee took Lions to Art in the Park, an art festival for students in K-12th grade with special needs and disabilities. We taught the kids how to make glow-in-the-dark paper flowers and punch out art! Everyone had a great time interacting with the kids and bringing a smile to their faces.
Our Green Team Special Committee hosted a social for our members this past weekend. We went to East Side Succulents to pick out own tsucculents! We re-potted them in old containers (to be environmentally conscious!) and glass mason jars to make some pretty terrific terrariums.
Meet the people that make the magic happen.
We'd love to hear how we can help you, whether it be a volunteer opportunity, general questions about the club, or anything in between.
